With support from UNICEF, IRN provided services for an emergency radio teaching program (Radio school) which provided opportunity for children nationwide to access learning whilst public gathering was banned during the Ebola outbreak. A daily broadcast for over 14 months was carried out. Over 1 million children who had access to radio benefited from this exercise. Children were able to learn from home even though there was a ban on public gathering. IRN has also being carrying programs and activities that support advocacy for free quality education and safe learning environment in Sierra Leone.
